Oxford comma gang (me) in shambles
Same, I’m not giving up how I write to the bots
I have the second dash key on my keyboard remapped to the em dash; AI can pry it from my cold, dead hands.
I am in that club as well.
Data is horrifying, more like.
‘Bolstered, landscape, tapestry, vibrant, delve’ these are the sort of words you’d encounter in an op-ed in The Guardian
1/3 must be an integral. Feels like the slope is currenly 99\100. Almost everything is slop.
The other 2/3rds won’t show yo until page 4 of search results
I have been testing a local model (LLM running on my computer and using my GPU) for general tasks on local files. Cleanup, summaries, bullet points, to do tracking (fail), calendering (fail), etc.
I have a large collection of my indie written TTRPG which include many offerings in EPUB and HTML file format, nor just PDF. Most predate LLMs and many are bloated and broken. What I have noticed is that many authors used web dev tools like Adobe Dreamweaver and such. Feeding the HTML and EPUB files to the LLM identified the inefficiencies, excess CSS, typos and more leaving me with clean and significantly smaller files. Those old web dev tools were not great.
This type of CSS clean up would also count as AI generated even though the content is 100% human authored.
