3D level design where you can get stuck on elements when you just want to move past them. Especially frustrating in racing games or sections where you have to move fast. Controls are just not precise enough to deal with this under stress.
Visible polygons and interactable polygons are not the same thing. Play Banjo Kazooie and Yookah Laylee (including the remake) to see the difference. The latter has you constantly bump into things because the environment is not smoothed out.
On the other hand some studios take it to the other extreme and make you walk almost on rails, childproofing every corner. A good middle ground is needed.

Congratulations! I’m happy when I finish two games in a year.

It’s like going to a store and asking a random person nearby to pick out the item you want, which you are fully capable of reaching yourself, while you keep standing around and do nothing. Great human interaction.

I understand if the article is long or convoluted and you just need a short summary but even refusing to click the link and do a quick check is lazy AF and should not be encouraged. Or at least use AI for that.

I understand why both of you might be upset but they will eventually understand why it wasn’t the best gift idea for you and all will be fine. Those things happen, don’t interpret so much into it. It might not be as obvious to them as you think it should be that you don’t like new things. Talk about it in a respectful way, they wanted to do something nice for you after all.

I guess you weren’t looking then https://www.metacritic.com/game/silent-hill-f/critic-reviews/?platform=playstation-5
(I personally don’t care for this game)

With my work skills I won’t be particularly useful before the first high level programming languages started coming in the 60s. But I also gained some handiwork knowledge over time so I won’t be a lost cause if someone sends me further back.

Valve will have a good enough overview on the situation and if they think it will hurt sales they can simply make a statement. They can handle it.
It’s interesting to discuss about the price but being upset about „idiots“ who have wrong ideas and playing hero for a multi billion dollar corporation is something I’m confused about.

So what exactly does that change? Valve already decided the price and that is what you will have to pay. Who cares what anyone ever predicted?

Which is why I don’t think they will sell at a loss but zero margin.
They could even add licensing restrictions so you can’t use them for commercial reasons or have to pay more for that.

I also recommend some Von Wegen Lisbeth

The profit comes from the games they sell.

It’s totally fine that you both like it and I’m not saying it’s a bad phone at all. It’s certainly very beautiful, probably feels nice in the hand and is overall a competent iPhone with just less camera. But most people are looking at the price, compare it to the other models and see that it just doesn’t make sense. It’s a pure luxury product that is still cheaper than a Pro so who exactly is the audience?

Germany mostly shines with Rap and Pop music.
Try out these and let Spotify recommend you similar stuff if you like it

Worse camera and battery than the regular iPhone 17 but higher price. I can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t sell…

I’ve also been using my hand to create the border in the past, it’s an even simpler solution that creates good results. It also has the benefit that you can feel where you are, while the comb is a bit more technical.
I never thought I would continue this after Covid but I like working on improving my cut and it’s good enough now that I don’t feel I need someone else. Always found interactions with hair dressers a bit awkward so I’ll gladly leave this behind me.

I’m doing it since Covid. No ideas about long hair but for me it’s simple:
With a hair clipper 9mm on the sides and back
12mm on the top (with the natural hair direction, not against)
Now the lower back is the hardest and it will never be amazing but gets better over time. I bought a hand mirror and use it to find where to create the border. I hold my comb in a roughly 20 degrees angle over that line and cut everything below with 3mm. This way I can’t overshoot and the angle creates a decent transition. If I want to improve it, I start another line below for a 0mm cut.
I would personally like to make an even shorter cut but my hair is pretty thin in some areas and then it looks spotty. At some point I might go full Heisenberg but there is still time.
I use a Remington QuickCut for most of my head and a Phillips 7000 series for details, beard and down under.
The only time I went to a professional since covid was for my brothers wedding.
You can even take your favorite pieces home for continuous access.
