Part of my job is keeping all of the endpoints my work manages up to date with patch compliance. I’ve had to create exceptions for the past two windows 11 updates because they won’t run on most machines for no reason. It’s been a pain in the ass. I can’t just add the machines to the exception list without doing basic troubleshooting because “procedure” and I’ve spent so much time doing absolutely unnecessary shit.

I was outside in 96F yesterday herding my ducks for 10 mins and my whole night was ruined because I got so sick from the heat.

I live in Pa, so our weather isn’t crazy hot like the south. I can’t imagine the weather where you’ve lived. 85F is my upper limit. Anything over makes me feel like I’m going to die.

Got in my car after work yesterday and it was 102F inside. It was awful

I work at an MSP, so we have clients who refuse to pay money to have good tech. Plenty of them have no domain, use Home, and just cheap out and then get mad when they have constant issues. We try to tell them to buy better shit, but they don’t wanna hear it. 🤷‍♀️

Windows 11 sucks ass, but I really get tired of people saying you are forced to use an account. There are multiple ways to make a local account in 11 when doing initial setup. It just sucks that it makes most people think that they have to use an account

Thank you! I realized that I will need a backup PC to use for my work if my work laptop goes down. Is there some fuckery that can allow me to boot from both OS’s somehow? Like choose before anything loads
