OP, treat yourself to using https://freetubeapp.io/ on desktop. It is in my opinion at least a much better experience than YT via web browser ever was.

Might I suggest using syncthing instead? Never broke once for me and have been using it for years. Not had a conflicts either, as you can choose wether that happens or not in syncthing.

Isn’t this an old thing by now? Pretty sure tabs that are not used for X amount of time are put to “sleep”.

Man I am so grateful for this project, I was afraid it would feel polished enough after having been with Plex for the last few years. But hot damn Jellyfin is so much better and keeps on giving!

I’d argue Firefox is the descent alternative.

• Opera is Crappy Chinese ad-filled browser
• Vivaldi, although it’s extremely nice tab management system and unique features, isn’t open source. But probably the better chromium browser of the owns you mentioned.
• Brave… Is a crypto shilling browser run by a turd wanting to ban same sex marriage

There are a plethora of sources out there of good reasons not to use these browsers. But seriously, Firefox is an excellent browser, treat yourself to better privacy 🦊

From what I know they were perfectly aware of the situation but did little about it… So thats a red flag. But yeah, there is a lot more to this, and that one source doesn’t cover it all, and is another source that shills certain VPNs themselves, hence why I said its not a great source itself. I can edit in some additional sources that are worth reading regarding the case when I get home.

But imo, there isn’t a single good reason to use ExpressVPN, instead of Mullvad, IVPN or ProtonVPN.

There are a lot of different things, I suggest to look it up for the accurate details. However the most sketchy thing is that it’s owned by Kape Technologies, previously known Crossrider something… Who helped distribute malware through their frameworks. On top of that, one of the employees have had connections to the UAE, and got caught, but still works there…???

That’s just the gist, and it’s some crazy stuff… Any VPN owned by Kape Technologies you should stay far away from.

Believe you can also remove the stock launcher on the Nvidia Shield. Have not done it myself, but have also never had my launcher automatically change like you mention. I’m using ProjectIvy🌻
