Haven’t thought about that movie since I left the theater. Lots of meme potential there… Nicely done.
Read the Jesus parts again. Would Jesus like that?

I avoided DS9 for decades thinking it would have to suck. It didn’t. I highly suggest a first play through of only Dominion War episodes. Then the characters grow on you. You wonder why anyone tolerates the mean Kai. So then you watch it in order.

To be serious a minute, I was certain I would be dead long ago. Save for retirement. If the cyborg revolution starts before retirement, then you might be able to get some cool upgrades. If you are “up against the wall”, you won’t have more than a few minutes to regret saving for retirement before you die. Regret Minimization!
Didn’t the tech companies threaten to leave if they were taxed? Seems easier to tax the tech companies than force people to identify themselves.
1980’s? Yes.
2000’s? No. Full of politics. Government waste, spies, Area 51 coverups, discussions of the deep state and military use in civilian areas. One of the movies referenced wars in the middle east.

“You cannot answer one illegality with another, because that is how the great catastrophes of humanity begin.”
The old version didn’t and some retailers still sell that.
We have found customers prefer the experience with the app! It is just the the experience without the app, but more modern. iOS only for now, but an Android version is expected soon!

Lighting the night will be bad for plants and animals.
million satellites to serve as orbiting data centers
There are ~8 billion people on Earth. Elon wants to have something like 1 data center per 8,000 people. Not to mention all of the other data centers.

“The Squad” are Democrats. The other two names are currently valid for my point.
“The Media” always frames things as if the minority group should be winning. Republicans have the majority, they should not be absolved when they are needed to increase the total number of votes to a majority.

Elsewhere in this thread. Anyway, here is what I had said:
There are “electric truck” conversion books from the 1970s. (Only trucks as they used lead acid batteries, which are still extremely heavy for useful amounts of stored energy.) This indicates it is not extremely complex, though possibly still very complex. (My reason for this assessment is from reading a few of them, but never implementing any of it.)
Anyway, here is a title to look for, from 2011, " The electric vehicle conversion handbook : how to convert cars, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles : includes EV components, kits, and project vehicles" by Warner, Mark, ISBN: 9781557885685 1557885680.
2021’s “Convert It!: A simple step-by-step guide for converting any classic car into an electric vehicle.” by Ron Toms, ASIN B093CH8HR7.
Neither are from the 1970s, but both are likely more useful anyway. There are also likely others that I cannot immediately find. I have read neither, yet.

I also live in Florida and love to jet ski. It was great seeing you in person last Saturday. Wow, what a day.
Who else was there? Must have been many of us. Just jet skiing in Florida.

This is a good idea. And a good use for AI.

Likely a lot. I posted elsewhere, but there were books on this in the 1970’s.

As for a detailed answer on the rest: I have no idea.

Just a reminder that “kit cars” exist. Their existence makes the idea of “open source” cars seem more reasonable to me in that one does not need to make a large company, it is possible (though likely not profitable or cheap) to be a small car company.

Media ignores own ability to highlight issue, criticizes other media and only group trying to stop all the other things, ignoring the group needed to actually stop things.
Title leads one to assume all is doomed, stay tuned.
Common Dreams could write “Where are the Republicans aiding Dems on Pushback of Trump’s War on Iran?”.

Original article title sucks (NOT OP’s fault). New charger can supply 1,500 kW power and 1,500 A current. The leak is this information getting out. The charger does NOT leak 1,500 kW power and 1,500 A (and presumably get very hot.)

Great idea! Thanks for showing how to do it!

I will break it down differently.
ICE agents are in cars, and the cars are traveling.
First Amendment Observers are following the cars with ICE agents.
The ICE agents are looking up the owner of the car that is following them.
The cars with ICE agents are driving to the homes of the observers, and pausing outside.
ICE agents are attempting to intimidate the observers by demonstrating that they know where the observers live.
Thank you for sharing.
Article provides three alternatives for how this could shake out. All of them assume the movement has to be on Iran’s side. The real world provides many, many more options.
