Ever read This Perfect Day by Levin? It gave me similar vibes, although the story is very different.

It’s the difference between reliving the exact same life repeatedly with no knowledge of any previous lives. This could actually be happening for you right now, but you’d never know. So, what’s the point? Retaining memories lets you differentiate between the iterations with accumulated trauma, joy, loss, sense of renewal.

I once went on a trip to Atacama and as a responsible person got insurgence that specifically covered rescue above 5000m. When I got there locals told me that there are actually no rescue teams there or anything.

Not sure i would trust insurgents with that task…

Without touching it, stake it out. Let other people passing by know about it. Maybe ask someone else to stake it out so I could go make a sign that says “Stack of Cash, found Unmonitored. If you know the owner, plz notify her or him. Possibly a police sting op, handle at your own risk.”
