The social contract is completely and utterly broken. For as long as hard work and investments in one’s future gets people absolutely nowhere, we will continue to be a degenerating society that doesn’t give a shit about being aspirational. There won’t be anyone left to care about space exploration or scientific advancements if all of the extremely talented people who can make it happen have the ball and chain of capitalism holding them down and sucking the life out of them. It’s impossible to dream big when you’re living in a nightmare.

Honestly I think access to AI chatbots at an early age is way more harmful to the developing brain. Character.ai is a very popular platform among younger gen z. LLMs are giving grown adults full blown psychosis, where’s all the concern for the children when it comes to a dangerous tool like that? What a bunch of geriatric fucking clowns.

Well to be fair, he did sign into law a $20 minimum wage and labor standards for the fast food industry. That’s not nothing.

What about the new internet surveillance law being pushed that Proton is moving it’s infrastructure out of Switzerland to avoid? Is there any pushback to that?
