  • I have never bought an iPhone or a Mac and I agreed at first that this seems an extra step. But you surely wouldn’t have to flip it over? The device will be raised enough it appears that a finger could slide in the gap and hit that button. But maybe I don’t know shit or have slender fingers or something but feels like it could be operated without flipping.

    What am I missing?

Still a daft design but yeah…

  • I ended up getting a Stadia Premiere Edition (Controller and a Chromecast Ultra) for £20 down from £70 and tried it for essentially free (Stadia Pro 12 months free).

The got £20 refunded when they wound down - announced 3/4 of the way through my Stadia trial.

So all free and got a long cabled USB-C charger, a newer Chromecast than my old one, which ended up on the 2nd TV, and a controller I can repurpose.

    Wild.

  • I love working from home. But I do go in more because it’s partly mandated but I take great flexibility with it. It genuinely helps me to be in a couple of days a week, but I’d like that to be my decision, not management. It isn’t the same for everyone either. Many roles are better off remote tbh. Our employer assesses category of work done and applies some full wfh where it makes sense, but some I feel get mischaracterised.
