I found out about it by being unable to use my laptop with sunnies unless I rotate the sunnies or the screen. Yet another lcd downside, should’ve got an old lmao

I tried the games once and they fucking suck, and then youtube wouldn’t stop trying to get me to play them more for like 4 months. I mostly use PC so shorts existing while being mildly inconvenient, isn’t an issue because I can just scroll past them. The movies have tempted me a couple times, but idk if i want to pay money for something i probably wont watch all of, actual youtube content is often more enjoyable.
Aside from showing me stuff I’ve seen (hopefully I just missed a setting for that) I don’t really have an issue with the yt algorithm. I watch game stuff, tech and science and it shows me more of that mostly. I am logged in though, so I don’t know if that makes any difference given they are able to track your interests regardless.
I don’t think I’ve ever gone through anything with less than 2 captchas in years
I used to, should do it again for when internet drops. Idk when USB C phones started being 3.0 so I’m not sure if what I was getting before was 3.0 or if I wouldn’t care. (Redmi note 8 pro is old phone if you care to compare at all)
My laptop is 144hz and I leave my phone on 60 for battery reasons and I’ve not noticed any issues using my phone. Scrolled my app menu back and forth quickly to see if I was just ignoring it but that seemed fine.
On one hand, yeah that isn’t great. On the other hand, would you literally ever notice? My new phone is 6 years newer and multiple times faster than my old one and the only functional difference I’ve noticed is OLED screen vs not OLED. Nothing ever lagged before due to hardware, hasn’t changed. Unless I’m using my phone as a USB drive, cord speed doesn’t matter. I presume I have 3.0 speeds from USB c, but it could be slower than 1.0 and I wouldn’t notice. 6 years of storage on my old phone got it to like 25gb used including the OS.
Might be your cars fault. I’ve been in some cars that are cooperative (current is like a 99.5% success rate) and some that are… Not. Used a VW Bora, aftermarket head unit worked like 1 in 10 attempts. Newer Toyota corrola straight up steals my Bluetooth connection so I’d give that about 140% because it will always connect even if I don’t want to, am in another car and currently connected to a different device.
Definitely on by default on my laptop
Had similar in my old car, honestly a decent Bluetooth speaker will be better than a lot of old, stock car speakers would be anyway.
Pretty sure it’d still drastically outperform every single other 8gb ram laptop out there though, perhaps even 3x faster. Not saying it shouldn’t have a ton more ram though, 8gb on anything expensive is pretty rude.
Foldable at least has theoretical benefit, curved screens on a phone are fucking terrible
