QWERTY except it randomly swaps two characters every time you get comfortable.
Cognitive impairment isn’t a social construct.
Someone got a few inches away from changing it, fwiw. Get your ecofascist doomer shit out of here.
Only by like a minute of average time-per-order, unless things have changed drastically since I worked in that industry. And only five of those cars are “in the system” so the big line shouldn’t even be a factor. Also, depending on what you get at a Starbucks, they can prep several things in parallel. I’m hoping this is a “summer 2020 and every dining room is closed” situation but I don’t really believe it.
Counterpoint: there’s an episode where a genie kills a man by giving him a giant penis but not enough blood to fill it and keep his brain alive, then turns another person invisible. It’s a monster-of-the-week episode, but still. Definitely magic.
Plane or sand it smooth and refinish it. Probably you would need to strip and refinish the whole thing to blend it in but that is an advantage to wooden furniture.
Pass on sticking within the bounds of treason and tyranny. I’m gonna keep idealizing beyond that.
Hasn’t posted in a few months, must be busy with that Ocean’s Eleven project.
Not to denigrate your experience but this is a good litmus test for anxiety. I can’t relate to this at all but my partner is hyper-aware of the feelings of others and readily attaches emotional significance to objects so this anecdote is very much something I’d expect from her. I hope your day-to-day isn’t filled with feigned enthusiasm.
Plants do do dimorphic gametes but it’s complicated by their two-stage life cycle.
Learn high-density home gardening and safe food preservation. That said, white rice does store a long time so it’s a good thing to hoard if you’re worried about food availability.
The worst part of anti-war music is that it never stops being relevant. Blast off! It’s party time!
Nobody should be obliged to host bigotry. That’s not “censorship” in a way that matters.
A bit disingenuous to skip the part where their bodies are falling apart and they’re in constant pain.
Patriotism is nationalism and it’s a toxic impulse. Borders are fake and division fuels bigotry.
It’s probably related to the term bangtail which I guess is a thing with horses and other livestock where they trim the tail hair straight across for reasons. Delving further into speculation it could have picked up the pluralization along a “those women with their bang cuts” > “their bangs” sort of route. I dunno man, language is weird.
Here’s another haircut example: the mohawk, also called a mohican in the UK and presumably other places, is a recognizable style independently named after two different indigenous American tribes that didn’t wear their hair like that. America picked it up from the film Drums Along the Mohawk and the UK got it from The Last of the Mohicans a few decades later.
There’s a bunch on the PS1 that got lost in the mix.
Ape Escape was really fun and novel, it was the first mandatory dual-stick release, and it did initially sell really well! It got two sequels on the PS2 but then drifted into spin-offs and party games. It’s been two decades since the last proper installment.
Tomba! is delightful nonsense, a 2D adventure platformer that presented non-linear quests and tight controls. It’s a cult-classic and the digital Special Edition on PS5 looks like it was done well.
Now for something truly forgotten: Running Wild. It’s a kart racer but instead of karts it’s a bunch of furries in a footrace. The announcer yells a lot, some of the character designs are lazy stereotypes, the graphics are muddy, but the track design is solid and it really feels fast when you get going. Very rewarding to learn the best lines and get into a clean flow.
