Yup they reinvested a lot of the oil money back into their country and population whereas we in the UK (Scotland) had it squandered.

Honestly I’ve not experienced any on either of them!
Switched from gmail to Protonmail and Outlook to Tuta.io and love it! Companies that put privacy and the individual first.
What would be interesting to me is if they could somehow hand off devices in close proximity. E.g I have an iPhone 15 so no Apple intelligence but I have a Mac and an IPad Pro M2 so if it could utilise those devices for the query and sync up I wouldn’t mind a wee delay.
I have a 15 and have had iPhones exclusively since the 11 (first one was the iPhone 2) but really wish there would be an occasional crazy one.
Don’t get me wrong there are good enhancements but maybe a completely see through version one year then the next make it rainbow pattern or have inbuilt LED. I remember LG bringing out a modular phone that you could switch out components like camera or extra battery or torch etc.
Most likely this is a non-issue for the majority of users but for anyone really strict on privacy it’s a different story.
Exactly the same. Photos in all devices (except work, obvs) file shared on iCloud is on all devices, I’m hooked into the ecosystem now.
I mean isn’t that what all big companies do to each other? If iPhone is regarded as the first smartphone then technically all other ones are copying them.
I’m not a purist or anything, just see how all major players end up fairly uniform outside of some niche bits and bobs.
Temperamental? Like sometimes I would get an email and it wouldn’t show on the app but if I logged in to iCloud in the web it would be there. Also sometimes it hangs when refreshing but these problems seem to be less than previously.
Used to use Gmail, moved over to Icloud mail when I made the switch to Apple. I love how it scans the mail to add any event into my calendar if I want it to.
Sometimes a wee bit temperamental though
It’s basically the gigachad of the factory world.
