How do you know that deleting anything on Reddit actually deletes anything? It might just hide the content but soft delete it in the database, which means you may not be able to see it anymore but they can still use it for whatever.
It could also indicate that other summaries of the texts were used to train the LLM and that it is summarizing those summaries. The actual book doesn’t need to be there, unless you can have it spit out the actual text of the book itself?
Just for the sake of comparison, Alphabet had $308 billion in revenue and $74 billion in profit in 2023 if I’m reading the numbers correctly. But they need cheaper labour.
