IIRC somebody said the eMac computers like this were actually really good for their age. Either the iMac shaped ones like that, or the ones with the half-sphere foot for a base.

Not if they’re baked into the system. Although that may get into GPL violations, I forget. God knows a device can come with locked firmware though.
I don’t know if you’re purposefully misunderstanding me or what. Not gonna bother.
Due to the article’s failure to make its claims explicit, that doesn’t explain all of this:
Indeed, data revealed here for the first time shows that during the fighting on October 7, the Air Force fired 11,000 shells, dropped more than 500 heavy one-ton bombs and launched 180 missiles. According to the data, during the battle the Air Force eliminated 1,000 fighters. Even if this is an exaggeration, these are impressive numbers.
The article states that the bombs were dropped over Gaza,
Where are you seeing that in the article?
We know from footage Hamas/PIJ killed a significant number, including civilians. Back in late 2023 I was figuring maybe about 75/25 Hamas/IDF ratio. Soon after, we saw a lot of evidence of IDF tanks and helicopters firing on civilians, not to mention the dozens of exploded cars. But that is a LOT of explosives in those statistics. 50/50, 33/66?
Much like how the current German government is just resold, used Nazi Germany
Good luck suing them
Well, the proof’s in the pudding - examine the evidence on this point, does he pretend to be something he’s not, better than what he is?
Sanctions not going through Congress, it’s insane that’s considered constitutional
Norman Finkelstein said something the other day, quoting someone else…it was…“hypocrisy is the homage that vice pays to virtue”. Meaning, evil people understand what they’re doing is wrong, that’s why they pretend to be good. Hypocrisy is beyond the point to them. They’ve sacrificed morality. Although I think Finkelstein was saying it in the context of talking about how Republican pols do so much less of even pretending to be good (though certainly not zero).
It means I should have read the article before I posted that.
Rest of the world understands solidarity better than U.S. voters
Anything useful was probably burned. Coretta Scott King believed the FBI killed MLK, for reference. Trump’s just pandering of course.
Sorry, I really have a thing about not having endless circular arguments with some asshole who’s completely wrong and incapable of admitting it. Tbph you should relinquish your control of any community you mod because your faculties for judgment are just about nonexistent.
The absence of legal proceedings against someone for a crime does not mean they didn’t commit the crime. Are you serious?
In fact, show me which of the 5 definitions of Genocide Biden meets under article II of the UN charter.
Another red flag, you’re confusing the UN Charter with the UN Genocide Convention, which is what has an “Article II” that defines genocide. Imagine making these kinds of mistakes and posting publicly with the kind of confidence you have. What a dick.
Re: the UN Genocide Convention (not the UN Charter), if you bothered to read Article THREE, it outlines conspiracy to commit genocide as a crime independent of genocide itself, as well as direct and public incitement to commit genocide, and complicity in genocide. By any sane metric he’s guilty of multiple of these - even if we ignore the diplomatic, logistical, military, and economic support Biden gave to “Israel” for its genocide, he is also guilty of spreading genocidal incitement propaganda, namely atrocity propaganda about Oct. 7 meant to dehumanize Palestinians.
The ICC, by the way, does not enforce the UN Genocide Convention - rather, the ICJ, a different body, would issue a ruling, if a lawsuit was brought against a state party by another state party, and the UN Security Council - which the US has veto power over - would decide on any enforcement of that ruling.
Experts in international law, the ICC, correctly blame Israel, not Biden.
The link you put does not excuse Biden. Why lie?
Meanwhile, back in reality:
The reason I say “naive” is that Biden persists in this mentality that Israel is just some poor victim surrounded by hostile Arab states and Israel hasn’t been a legit victim since… what? The 1972 Olympics?
Please study the Nakba, you’re not just embarrassing yourself but whitewashing a history of genocide.
“Naive and outdated” that’s one way to describe sending $30B in arms to a genocide. Others would call it “complicity in genocide”. Like, experts in international law.
Been on lemmy.world for the last month or so you guys, I fucking hate it. Arguing with "we had to vote for Harris"ers until some vigilante mod decides my angry response to their support for genocide isn’t “civil” enough.
Adb is just an interface between computer and phone, the packages it lists may not be every system component, you can add anything in at kernel level, or also just not list it in that interface.
