If you really want to get fancy about it, a lot of little art galleries sell postcard sized prints and you can give someone a tiny little piece of art that speaks to you. Or go to a museum and buy like 10 at the gift shop and keep a stockpile to send when you want to reach out. People love it, and you probably will too.

Our rescue was a “lab/beagle” on paper, but yeah she’s definitely got some American Staffordshire Terrier. Our HoA is very dog friendly and she’s a favorite around the neighborhood. If you adopt a mutt in the US they’re going to have at least some kind of pittie in the mix.
