The map is just wrong. How did they gather this data, it just what the map maker has decided is the case rather than objective reality.

Honestly I think that any community that objects to wind farms or solar panels just on irrational bases like that should get an oil derek built in the centre of town, even if it’s just for show. Just to make the point.
A lot of it is NIMBYism, it’s not that they don’t want wind farms it’s that they don’t want wind farms here. Because they think that if you don’t build a wind farm in their community you’ll also not build a cold burning power station in their community. Often this is correct because what is a good location for wind farm is a bad location for a power station.
Well they’re not zombies, since they actively hate the concept of brains.
I don’t see how they could kill birds anymore than trees do. Birds have pretty good eyesight in many cases better than humans I can’t reasonably see why wind turbines would be any more of a threat than any other structure natural or organic.
When I bought my house one of the things that I was warned about was that they were going to make the nearby wind farm larger. Some of the locals got up in arms about them building a new wind farm until they pointed out that they are just enlarging the current wind farm.
None of the residents could tell me where the current wind farm was, because you literally cannot see it, it’s behind a hill. If they hadn’t told anyone they were enlarging it I don’t think anyone would have noticed. Even if you go around the hill so you can actually see it, it just blends into the background. I do wonder why they don’t just paint them blue though.
Well going for a cop isn’t going to help them is it? If the cops and ICE end up shooting each other I think most people will consider that to be a fairly acceptable outcome.
The level 1 agents are always useless.
I don’t know a single call centre where the level 2 agents don’t constantly complain about the utter incompetence of the level 1 agents, who appear to have never even used a mouse before.
They escalate tickets such as “the users screen is upside down”, and “callers operating system has changed to papyrus needs to be changed back”. Things that could have been fixed by both the first line service agent, and the caller, if either of them had bothered to do a 4 second Google search.

It’s incredibly apparent, you think it’s smooth but then when you go over to 120 Hz and then go back the difference is very apparent.
I have an fairly high end TV and honestly I don’t know what the point is because there is virtually no content that’s available for it.
Pretty much none of the streaming services go beyond 4K and often they’re at 1080p and I have to upscale to 4K. Consoles also don’t go above that 4k and again often in fact don’t even hit that.
I find the whole AI debate to be very confusing.
Does what we see which is that AI is next to useless. Then there’s what we get told by Nobel prize winning scientists which is that AI is going to kill us all. Personally I doubt it, but we can always hold out hope.

It’s the same in the UK. There is national healthcare which is what most people go with because it’s free (and most people underestimate how infuriating it is sitting in a waiting room for 6 hours) and then there’s private healthcare which is what you go with if you want expediency.
A lot of the time if you go with private you end up being tended to by the same medical staff anyway, you’re basically just paying to skip the queue.
