I’m not convinced the SRPD would actually respond in any of those scenarios. Even IF they gave a fuck, would they show up on time before Cletus and co. break down the door? If they’re too late, do they bother chasing the kidnapper-cops down? I dunno, you’re expecting cops to fuck with cops, and at least I have yet to see any of that, despite everything that’s happened already

I’m assuming you’re male? If so, this sounds like an exact description of my sexuality. If someone really wants specifics, I usually just say “I like femmes/femininity” or “I’m not into mascs.” But 99% of the time I just say I’m straight. Seems accurate enough to me

Then tbh you’re not one of the people I was talking about. I hope you’ll put in the extra credit and join a local movement if one gets started, but if you put in the effort on that one day every two years, you’re way ahead of about a third of the country

I watch an ungodly amount of porn and still manage to do some basic keeping up on politics. The problem isn’t the other things people want to do, it’s that being up-to-date on politics is straight up a faux pas. Everyone can agree that our current government sucks, but start trying to tell the vast majority of people about anything specific, such as, I dunno, how Mitch McConnell stole Supreme Court appointments from Obama, their eyes glaze over. People think it’s cool to bitch about your own problems, but if you learn enough to do anything about it and advocate for political action, you become a tryhard.
