It’s just history repeating itself. We’ve seen dotcom bubble, web 2.0 rush, nft fiasco and now AI. All fueled by VC greed. On top of that in today’s world companies try to get as much data as possible and so called AI is the perfect tool for that.

I would have never expected the EFF to use a lame click-bait headline like this one.
Working from home proved that most of the people are capable of “self-managing” and don’t need a corporate drone telling them what to do. I have a feeling that the push to get back to the office is fueled by insecurities of middle management that became redundant.
In the perfect world it would be a great thing to do. Old enough people should remember SETI screensaver. But we are not living in a perfect world and I would never buy a car and participate in expenses just to make some rich clown even richer.
Another good idea. Will keep that in mind when looking for a TV.
This is a really good advice. I will be looking for a new TV soon and it seems like there are no more dumb TVs.
