They need to have certain margins to survive. These first years are crucial, if they gain enough market share I’m sure they’ll stick around and will be able to apply better prices.
Right now I know that I’m overpaying, but part of that extra money I’m more than happy to give it to send a message to the entire industry: consumers WANT right to repair, upgrade and fully own the electronics they pay for. And our planet needs this as well.

I remember getting told off for taking my sick days, as in the days you’re entitled to. This no days off, “grindset” culminated in the real moment I realized I had to leave. I purposefully cut my leg open so badly I would have to go to the ER to get it stapled back together. It was genuinely the only way in my mind to take a day off without being harassed for a reason why.

Well TBH I’m STILL waiting for a nice tag-based file system where I can just throw all my files in my bin and filter by tags, potentially more than one at a time.
I’m definitely expecting they do once RISC-V is mature enough (something I can’t wait to happen!)
