Or trauma, depression, etc, etc. We should really stop diagnosing people and just suggest mental health support from a professional when something is wrong.
Sincerely - a person with cptsd, who has been constantly misdiagnosed with autism and adhd by the community (I have neither, and it was harmful to think that was my problem).

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What was the scariest “We need to leave… now” gut feeling that you’ve ever experienced?
91·26 days agoThis is exactly the feeling. Went through a tornado when I lived in the midwest. It hit two streets over, just missing us. The sirens were going off but we were teenagers and still hanging out on the couch, parents were out. There were a ton of storms growing up where the sirens went off so we were a little desensitized.
Suddenly just knew it was time to go, something was here. Don’t know how else to describe it, the air changes, it’s like the vibrations change in the wind, or a sound that’s too deep to hear. Can’t say exactly, but I still remember the feeling of move now. We all just bolted at the same time and ran to the basement.

5·29 days agoIt’s called Metalhead, from Black Mirror (you could have also just asked, instead of this comment, would have gladly said so).

7·29 days agoI forgot how horrifying this episode was. Part of me wants to rewatch, part of me thinks it’s too close to our current reality.
Some people do feel lonely. Not everyone is you.
