Mr Hicks. A total legend
Mr Hicks. A total legend
My goodness. If you don’t work in advertising, then get your arse into it now.
looking forward to linux being able to run hard and solid on them
Well that was apple’s exact argument when they would not release phone cpu specs back in the day. “It’s not relevant” they would say, as the whole experience is faster. It’s really just whatever suites their marketing people. Slowed down your phones, oh, we got caught. But, it’s a FEATURE, and so we don’t get dragged through lawsuites, we’re adding it as an OPTION. Look, the M4 looks great. But any spin they put on anything, I just take it with a grain of salt.
Are you using a self hosted open source system, or a saas subscription? I’m genuinely interested.
We handle support in our company as part of our day to day. By and large the bulk of support is people simply leaning on us, rather than relying on common sense, or using the docs. Only a small percent is what would be considered essential.
However, each industry is different. This is just ours.
Generative AI could easily help the bulk of our support load.
Fair comment. I’d just love to see those sleezy evil evilcorps burn.
Printing is dead removed. Die with it and scrabble for your final pennies
Except nobody cares about gen x. The poor forgotten generation.
Case in point, watch this excellent ad, and see how gen x are treated. :-)
I can’t figure it out
What a great ad for Google. This is the CEO many grew up with right? Right. FFS, this is evil and dark… unlike Google right? Right?
Sounds like they have a loaded up landcruiser or similar, and maybe are towing?
I have a loaded up (and I mean fully loaded) Nissan, towing, and i get about 400km to every 60ltrs. Not good.
Yeah MS tried this with youtube. But got shut down fast
Not so far. I want to visit one day!
Deutschland?
Many German supermarkets do this. You scan as you put items in the trolley.
It surely is. My hobby is to look at a person entering self checkout to remember who they are, as I enter the human checkout. I’m usually bagged, and paid whilst that person on the self checkout is still working through their groceries. The professional human is SO much faster than the self checkout.
It’s not always the case, but in the vast majority of times it is, so I choose speed over doing it myself.
I’m from Australia, and visit Germany regularly.
Australian coffee is sublime. Made manually, it’s a profession of pride for many, and in all my travels to many countries, the coffee of Australia has never been bested.
German coffee is made through exact, automated machines, and it’s crap. It’s some of the worst coffee I’ve experienced.
Machine after machine, I’ve tried them all, and I’ve given up.
I don’t know what the human does, but whatever they do that the machine is not doing, makes av huge difference, and no manufacturer has cracked the magic formula yet.
Wow. There ya go. Talk about little old me living in my bubble
Does anyone really care at this point?
You could put 10 phones next to each other and they all basically look the same.
If you’re getting exited about this year’s model having a glossy finish, then you might need to reconsider your goals.
I’d say this is just some PR bullshit article to make people think other people really give a shit.
