You say that as if the garbage gets downvoted
One time I was went on there to figure out an issue in Arduino. The answer one guy gave was “I don’t know how to do this in Arduino, here’s how you do this in Java”. Not only the the mods prevent any other answers from being posted, I tried the guy’s suggestion in Java and it didn’t even work
Agreed. Russia needs to pull out of Ukraine
EDIT: Is it just me, or is it weird that I got downvoted on lemmy.ml for suggesting a country should stop being an imperialistic, kleptocratic aggressor state
You can check all your games on ProtonDB. That being said, almost any single player game will work. Same with any multiplayer game that doesn’t insist on poorly implemented anti-cheat
Lemmy.ml moment
Per your previous comment:
Yeah, not “incorrect,” just non-standard. The yardstick is:
Clearly, he was able to get there so it’s firmly in “acceptable use.”
I’m not the one conflating the two concepts.
The yardstick is: did your interpretation match the intended one?
I think that’s just you. There’s a few examples of rules in English that aren’t required to get a point across, but sentences that break them sound grating. One such example is adjective order
Heads up, “I’ve” is not grammatically correct when “have” is your verb. Using “have” in a contraction when you’re using past-perfect tense. For example, “I’ve been” is an acceptable shortening of “I have been”.
Tbf, the NIMBY fuckwads make it difficult to build new train routes
Unfortunately I’ve seen plenty of patents misused exactly as you described. Patent trolls are a thing
Unfortunately the US moved from a first-to-invent system to a first-to-patent a few years back. Terrible idea.
And for the record, the US was one of the last western countries to switch
YouTube is an entirely different beast. Even if they personally don’t have ads, the platform itself runs ads and provides money to the creators based on those ads (or YouTube Premium subscription fees).
This could be fixed if everyone hopped onto Peertube, but that’s unfortunately not happening anytume soon
Go back to Reddit, spez
Honestly, the use case with the least/worst options on Linux is CAD. Yes, FreeCAD is a thing but it’s terrible and it’s established userbase insists that actual modern CAD packages are unnecessary.
Apart from FreeCAD, there’s a browser-based option that looks good, but most people won’t use it because it forces everything designed on their service to be open-source.
I meant more as “will be” when the time comes
I’m just hoping that Peertube is in a spot to capitalize when Youtube crashes and burns in a couple of years
MBA’s are a plague
Yes, but a decent portion of why they’ve been sanctioned is because of said antagoniziation towards Taiwan
And it’s pretty consistent for Linus too. He’s been making this rant on WAN show since ChatGPT started gaining traction
