Urgh.
Urgh.
I do not think that this can be legal, if you have already agreed to terms.
Surely they can just say from now on, thing you have used for a year is not usable unless you promise not to sue us.
Surely that ship has sailed?
Yeah, it is basically to keep them out of Tue courts.
I don’t think they really care how you use the roku, just that they don’t get sued or class action’d
That was really interest.
You could hear the excitement in their post!
Took me a second…
Bravo!
Most remote capital in the world checking in!
Yeah, the SWIS is totally isolated from any other grid, meaning it cannot rely on interconnects to help with variable generation.
There is starting to be a coal generation issue coming up!
No crop dusters in the city, but potentially, as it is not too far from Jandakot airport.
I will ask some mate what they recon. They work in the industry. If I go past I’ll take a photo for you.
I have seen these balls on power lines in Western Australia for decades, and literally only just found out what they were.
They are used (maybe among other things) to understand exactly where a fault has occurred in a mlln outage.
They give you sensor data between substations, and allow the grid operator to better isolate the fault and restore power to the largest possible area, without reenergising the fault.
They use parasitic power transfer to be totally disconnected from any dedicated power supply.
Very cool
Are you saying that you want to put it to a network share?
The app then let’s you navigate and view the photos/videos?
never heard of him before. what about him?
there are a number of blog posts that have different details about the how/why, etc. i just followed the links in the article to other parts of the series.
I expect that the use case is more prevalent than you think, where you are spending a decent chunk on cloud infra. I have been convinced for some time now that the costs are high compared to our on-prem. I really like the idea of a the “deft” type hardware management service, so that look after the DCs, hardware and connectivity, and we look after the software.
Yeah, cheers. More or less what I do. I am chasing some algorithm though,.
I am on a small instance, so if i am not subbed, they will never make it to “ALL”.
I am still interested in the others that i am subbed to, but i want the very small ones to float to the top easier.
I guess by NEW will help, but they will get flooded out by the larger comms that have more posts. catch-22
I don’t think that you would team them, but add a barrel jack for the big charger.
