Damn, Andrew Bailey has done fine work with the Red Sox. Everybody had big questions about the rotation and even with Giolito, Bello, Pivetta and Whitlock on the IL, they still have the best ERA. Didn’t see that one coming
Yeah crazy. And some not even close to being strikes. That’s baseball for you
I feel the the same. From the outside it don’t really like how Boras handles some things, but it so hard to judge when you’re not part of the process. I can’t imagine how it must feel to be a good baseball player and be stuck in an market, not even knowing whether you’ll be part of a opening day roster
The team leaving is in itself ff’ing sad for the fans, but the way this situation has been handled just makes it so much worse. A’s fans deserve better
I get that feeling on a regular basis watching players around the league.
Gray is not easy to replace indeed. I’m curious how the pitching staff will do this year
I’ll start it off:
I can’t believe they’re not playing in cotton. You know they used to make leisure suits out of this fabric?
It’s planned for release in '25. The exact date hasn’t been revealed.
I bet. It’s good to see some action from the O’s
Quite interesting to see them trying to live without a car in a society where cars are such a necessity. I live in the Netherlands and many of my friends don’t have a license or own a car, but over here the infrastructure is build around accessibility for people without a car. For example, I live in a small town and I can hop on my bike and reach 5 supermarkets within 15 minutes. But it’s interesting to see people trying out different modes of transportation where it’s not so easy.
Man, baseball is just stupidly hard to watch in some (most) places. It’s based on an outdated model and needs to change fast if baseball wants to keep and attract fans
The Mariners seem to have such a solid and fun core, it’s a shame that ownership isn’t willing to spend more
Yeah that would’ve been nice. Although I don’t blame Breslow for going for pitching depth, there’s a real lack of pitching in the minors. Let’s hope they pan out
As a Sox fan I was expecting him to be traded this off season. Last year of his contract and he did seem to have some motivational issues in the last couple of years. Just weird to see him go to the Yankees though. But other than that I’ve always liked Dugie, so I hope he does well there. Just not too well lol
It was good seeing him play so well last year. Glad he got a new deal
Make it rain
