Fucking weird, isn’t it? Another rant would be about where is all the advertising money coming from?! Imagining being a buyer, I’d have to wonder how well my spend would be profiting.
A couple of decades ago I played around with being a salesman. Top advice was to try this ad, try that ad, compare results. Surely these people are finding revenue from spending on these ads? It just seems impossible to me that there’s profit for all of these cockroaches.
I feel like you weren’t there, in that time and place. Or maybe you were in some weird pocket where OTA wasn’t available? Can’t remember anyone bitching about lack of antennae service. Yeah, it could be sketchy, but I think most of us could drag in ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS.

Yeah, I have Prime for the savings on shipping. Got the Kodi addon for watching Prime, never used it except to watch The Expanse a few years ago. Would have been fucking enraged if I had seen ads cut into that. Fuck am I paying for?!

You can get sweet cufflinks for cheap on eBay, maybe etsy. I’ve got a box full, even some I made by breaking off the stud and pouring resin.

Not to be a jerk, but the presentation, uh, is lacking.
Had a truly weird problem with Namecheap, kinda thing one would think was surely me being stupid. Knew I’d have to fight through 3 levels of tech support to even get heard. Don’t remember the issue, but it was clearly on their backend, and how the hell you gonna get a db guy to look?!
It late evening, but Namecheap has text support! (Unlike GoDaddy and others.) Svetlana comes on the chat. I explained the issue as clearly as I could, waited for the inevitable arguments. She was quiet for a minute, “OK. I understand. Please wait.”
10 minutes later, it’s FIXED! No further discussion, no further questions, just DONE. Amazing tech support experience.
With the exception of the barn owl, they are all not doing brilliantly. There’s a bit of a decline across the board.

People always frame this shit as, “What ya gonna do against tanks and drones?!” Not a goddamned thing. But let’s just say the military infrastructure would collapse in weeks without civilian help.
I could go on all night, but there was an excellent post on /r/liberalgunowners that outlined dozens of ways to fight the military on the streets. Much of it was, “Those tanks and drones don’t drive or maintain themselves.”

On one hand, they have clear orders from the Commander in Chief. On the other hand, they know it’s bullshit and anathema to the military’s history and tradition. I’d like to think they’ll show out and purposefully shove their collective thumbs up their ass.
In a perfect world, they would show up in casual uniforms and unarmed, just stand around lackadaisically. What perfect opportunity for malicious compliance!
