Modern liberal democracy is authoritarian too, it’s just that a different group of people hold the keys
I can see that some Western countries lean towards authoritarian, but for example Switzerland? How is this country authoritarian?
Would you support defederating with every instance that is aligned with liberal democracy?
Tbh, I can understand the reasons why some instances want to defederate from others. if I look in scenario that I’m the administrator of my own instance I don’t know if I would defederate from any instance, like I don’t think I’m knowledgeable enough about every instance and about their own quirks

7·2 months agoI did dual booting for a long time, because ✨ proprietary drivers ✨ , To this day I can’t use my wifi (there’s no patch for now) or bluetooth, but it’s acceptable price for not being under microsoft’s feet

4·2 months agoI don’t think constant stream of harassing messages should happened, and why they could tell everybody earlier: “Hey! We are doing the blacklist, if you wanna disable it then go ahead, but XYZ(response why they did the blacklist)” like…

Isn’t it also about 5 years that there is the War next to EU’s border? (Russia vs Ukraine) There is also trump that threaten EU, and do whatever “he wants” I would really want to see more united EU, because now Eu is still subordinate to USA
I don’t know even how I should react to it, I don’t consider the entire .ml instance as something bad, I can see why some instance defederate from them, but that is it
