My husky doesn’t care. My chihuahua will come over and lay on my chest exactly like dogs trained to comfort people with anxiety and such do; and I did not train him to do that.
My husky seems aloof too, but he does show his care in very small and reserved ways. It ends up really touching.
Last night we had a really spooky encounter with a guy. Dude seemed distressed, I checked in on him, and while it was pleasant at first it devolved. Once we got home I was really rattled, and Teeko who normally goes out to sleep on the balcony, stayed next to my bed all night.
