It was used to market Ritalin and Adderall, both of which treat actual diseases, but became trendy drugs to “normalize” your unruly children. Sugar, artificial dyes, satan, skateboarding, Bart Simpson, and Nintendo were all blamed for disobedient crotch goblins acting out.
