I discovered this by accident. It may not work 100% of the time.

If you create a patreon account using a simplelogin alias, patreon will automatically flag it as suspicious after a few minutes and delete the account.

This means you can make an account. Purchase whatever you wanted and wait. The account will be deleted as suspicious and the money is automatically refunded.

I’ve been using a SimpleLogin alias on Patreon for a while and have never been flagged, so there’s that.

I don’t think money is automatic refunded on account deletions. Also, if you’re registering your card on multiple accounts, it will get flagged. One thing every service is good at is handling payment info.

Unless you have proof charges were automatically reversed.

But again, it would theoretically work one time.

It was for me, I got a notice of a refund just a few hours after the account closer email.

Again I just discovered this and don’t want to come off like it’s a for sure thing.

In terms of payments methods, patreon seems to accept virtual cards, which makes it easy to avoid using the same payment method or tying any part of your identity to the transaction.

there’s also https://kemono.su/ (fair warning, lots of vaguely horni anime art) which archives tons of patreons/other similar services. doesn’t seem to work with patreon-hosted videos or podcasts if I recall correctly, but definitely works with other posts/images

I currently can’t find, if patreon videos work correctly (I seem to remember they do). For other services they work. Most people simply upload unlisted to youtube or on mega or some on vimeo with patreon integration.
For the ones on vimeo use the following yt-dlp command:

      yt-dlp --referer https://patreon.com/ https://player.vimeo.com/video/<video-id>

oh interesting, looks like they do work now! I don’t use kemono that regularly but recall being unable to access some embedded media last time I tried. Currently both audio and video seem to work though.

Also I’m shocked that vimeo trick works lol. fantastic stuff

but then I have to click on that domain name which I think might give me a horrible disease

(jk thanks for the heads up. generally people I’m interested in on patreon I just cough up the change but its good to have options. ) And as always the best way to get good advice is to put out some mediocre advice and let people who know more correct the record lol

Bruv I literally gave you the best available option there’s nothing better than Coomer to find Patreon content.

And if you’re thinking that you’d only find porn there, then you’d be wrong, I’ve more often than not have found patreon content of regular podcasters and other people who don’t do porn on Coomer.

The site’s name is Coomer because it was originally created to scrape Porn because Porn was the major reason people used these platforms but as more and more people found them as a way to monetize their creative work, these platforms shifted towards hosting everyone and not just porn.
