President Donald Trump raged at Walmart for price increases they say are coming due to Trump's policies, ominously warning "I'll be watching!!!"

tariffs are essentially sales taxes based on origin rather than point of sale.

I’m guessing this will make sales taxes go up too. We are now paying taxes on the taxes.

  It will. Sales tax is a percentage of retail price and prices are going up.
