    CONTEXT: “Margaret” and near linguistic cousins were extremely popular names in Medieval Europe, specifically England and France, to the point where of the 43 people (and 8 women) here, four of them are Margarets (and most of them were related one way or another). Peggy is probably a bit anachronistic, but it too is a form of Margaret.
