I feel like I’ve heard this story before…

    From another franchise

Enshittification ruins all that it touches. 😭

I’ve never seen anyone say they actually watched that show, I genuinely thought I was the only one who watched it.

I cancelled around the same time, though I was sick of the enshittification and constantly killing everything as soon as people got into it. Been 5 years and I’ve never had the urge to go back.

Yeah, I understand not every show can last, but it became such a pattern with Netflix that it seemed like there was no point getting invested in anything new. If it wasn’t a Stranger Things level hit, it was guaranteed to be prematurely punted.

Exactly, Netflix has a similar reputation as Google, if it’s not a massive hit right out of the gate, they kill it. They’ve trained their audience and users to not invest in their products because they aren’t going to last.

Maybe I’m alone in saying this but I really don’t care if they make more Trek.

I’ve watched TNG, DS9 <3, and VOY. I’ve watched most of ENT, and TOS.

While I liked what I’ve seen of SNW and LD (I’ve only just realised that Lower Decks doesn’t fit neatly into the 3 letter acronym format), I could live without them.

If I want more trek, I’ll watch Babylon 5.

I really don’t need more new shows. I think we have enough shows. In fact, I think that if no one ever made any show ever again we’d be completely fine (from a having stuff to watch perseptive; from a creative perspective, it would be kinda sad).
