This is what drives me crazy. So trump can get away with pretty much anything, that’s been established. Well then start going after the stormtroopers who are carrying out these illegal orders. Take these little toadies and toss them in prison, then we’ll see how many people follow trumps orders
It really hasn’t been established. The courts have ruled against him repeatedly, and most of the time trump gives in just like all of the masterful negotiations he is part of.
The things trump gets away with are the result of poorly written laws that were intentionally left vague so that the people who wrote them could someday take advantage of the vagueness themselves.
That said. How many trump associates from his first term ended up in jail or having major monetary settlements against them. There always seems to be more people willing to roll the dice for trump. That is something I wish we could better understand so that we could counter it.

Can’t judges requisition anyone as a Marshal and send them to capture ICE thugs held in contempt? I don’t think that will happen but maybe it should.
