No one is allowed to change their opinion when conditions change or they learn new information. You form an opinion then hold on to it no matter what.
If you are referring to the title, my point was that this guy was already willing to accept being a step or three closer to evil than I would be, and probably than most of us would be. And still they went too far for him.
I can accept that he was one of the altruistic ones who thought of ICE as protecting America from the bad ones - who do exist. The fact that ICE morale has dropped into the shitter reflects that a lot of other employees are in that same category and don’t like the way the agency is now. If they were primarily gung-ho look at me I’m kicking this guy’s ass types, their morale would be soaring right now, like the assorted maggots who crawled out from under their rocks and puffed out their chests when Trump started gaining traction. Those people’s morale doesn’t go down when they’re told to be stormtroopers, it goes through the roof.
