I went on a date with someone of asian descent. She said she wanted to make sure I wasn’t like the other white guys seeking a stereotypical obedient / silent partner. I told her that I was only interested in dating someone who would challenge me and push back when she disagreed, else what was the point. We got along great after that.

I can’t imagine having such a small ego that being told “no” challenged my manhood. It must suck to be so fragile.
