We’re already seeing a massive pivot. The only reason most Democrats didn’t care about genocide is because they were too scared to lose if they actively opposed it. Now that they see that they will lose if they don’t actively oppose it, suddenly we see a surge in popularity of figures like Mamdani.
It’s sad that it required Democrat voters losing for genocide to be waken up from the illusion of being able to win with ‘the lesser evil’ mentality
Again, I hope you’re right. Mamdani is the only one I can name, and one snowflake is hardly an avalanche, but it’s a start.
Edit:
I think we could have also had the same showing for Mamdani, you know, without Trump. But maybe I’m crazy in that respect. I see no reason why his win has to be predicated on R winning presidency and a shitload of seats, he could have just demonstrated a better strategy with a more decisive outcome was available.
No you can let the Democrats lose and show them that they won’t win while supporting genocide. That will force them to pivot.
I guess we will see what happens next run if there is a fair one. I hope you prove me wrong, but I just pretty strongly doubt it.

Not for the lack of public opinion shifting.
Palestine is the ultimate Litmus test. Politicians who do support Israel are compromised.
As a response to your edit: Democrats would have been validated in supporting genocide to win and nobody would have dared to support change.
It’s truly sad this loss was necessary to get them to change their stance on genocide after the Abandon Biden campaign told them in advance.
