      Yeah but spices what are we talking about… apple pie spice? Or like, Carolina Reapers? Spice is a broad category. The centuries of warfare and dying were more concerned with, I think, cloves and cinnamon kind of shit. Saffron. Stuff nobody could really live without these days.

        Good point. Chili is pretty much out entirely, but most of the other spices are fine in small to moderate quantities. But if digestion wasn’t an issue, I’d go wild with stuff like cinnamon and gingerbread spices.

    in india, and most of south east asia I believe, these spices are in regular meals?

    do you guys not use it or use it just sometimes

      Here in colombia they don’t use many spices except salt and pepper in their national dishes. I have to go to mexican or indian places if i want spice.

      Major of the South Indian dishes have these, especially pepper is most common.
