In Silverstone Piastri said that if the team thinks he did nothing wrong then they should let him swap with Lando but Lando wasn’t told to give the position back. At Monza Lando did nothing wrong but Piastri was told to give the position back. Which means either McLaren thought Piastri deserved his 10 second penalty or they prefer Lando over Piastri. I’m not saying McLaren is definitely preferring one driver over the other, but it is starting to look like it.
