Is it really necessary for someone to apologize for being anti-abortion and Christian?
I get that it’s not a stance you’re into (or me for that matter) but again it doesn’t look like they’re spreading hate or being a bigot or anything like that. Unless I’m missing something?
Yeah looking at his Wikipedia entry as well as his original tweet, he deffo supported his wife and the MarchForLife. Seemed like his response to the backlash was a sort of weasely “we have faith and believe separation of church and state is important” without addressing the actual problem. Not good.
wasn’t this guy exposed to be an anti-abortion christian, like, 6 years ago?
Correct.

Did he use his platform for hate?
when confronted with it, he did openly pronounce it again, iirc. But I don’t use any platform he uses so I can’t source it rn, sorry.
What, was he?
still is, from what I know! He at least never apologized or changed course.
