Well my dog eventually learnt that W.A.L.K was a walk so we had to come up with another code word

Same. And P A R K. Currently we “marche” and visit the “DP.” Not sure yet what we’ll use when he figures those out.

There was a thing a while back where people made poetry for dogs. The idea was to use word sounds that dogs would recognize to keep them interested (or mess with them, depending on how you look at it). I can’t find it now on google as all that comes up is dog poetry, but luckily AI is good for stuff like this so it’s easy to create now:

      A Chant for Wagging Shadows

The garden situates softly, where violets all stay,
Through comer ants heeling by, dawn brightens the day.

A sparrow awaits near the downpouring stream,
Its treaty of feathers in ballads that gleam.

The children proclaim in their good-hearted cheer,
That walkways and rides will keep mem’ries near.

The carriage rolls onward; the bedtime bells ring,
Soft shadowaits murmur, and no robins sing.

The oak’s downward branches hold comefort in shade,
While sittars and stayplights in hush tones are played.

At dusk the moon’s heel drifts o’er comepass and sky,
With treatures of silver where good wishes lie.
