They still gotta investigate while another 200k innocent people are murdered, though. This is the price we pay for living in “civilized” “democracies”.

What else can we do? It’s a nuclear state backed by the US. The US won’t allow NATO to do anything, and anyone else intervening would spark a World War.

Have you heard of economic sanctions? Arms embargos?

Obviously the UN can’t do this, but the EU could, and hasn’t. This has been an obvious genocide for well over a year now. Even if it weren’t genocide, killing tens of thousands of civilians and destroying an entire countries infrastructure over 1k deaths and a hundred (?) hostages is a psychopathically disproportionate scale of war crimes.

Doesn’t matter. The countries who signed the genocide convention should respect their obligations

Well you don’t want to blame anyone unfairly, gotta mind your p’s and q’s and come in with an airtight case bc you only get one shot when you go for the king (or something, that’s usually the line I’m given as to why the gears of justice grind so slowly or whatever)
