They are the product of a system built by oligarchs, for oligarchs; progressively corrupted by the most sociopathic &/or psychopathic capitalism can possibly enrich — crime pays, so the most criminally corrupt naturally excel to the top of capitalism — All a wealthy criminal has to do is hide behind the liability shield of an LLC, a legal team, a profit motive, and plausible deniability… as long as they do it for profit they’re free to kill millions via the stroke of a pen, bribery (aka “donations”), etc, etc.

Really hoping a true Linux phone and OS materialises in the next couple of years. Something that isn’t beholden to any corporate monopoly or cartel. My requirements are basic. Apart from a dozen core mobile features/apps, everything can be done through a browser.

Murdoch is one of the most well-known examples, but I’m sure there are hundreds (if not thousands) of fossil fuel and military contractor investors or board members — you’ve never heard of — who are criminally corrupt psychopaths that deserve to be in the dirt.

These people’s only allegiance is to the almighty dollar. They have no real virtue, morals, or ethics.

I also find it hilarious that every global multinational offshored everything they possibly could to China, thus their own operations are directly subsidised by the CCP and Chinese labor, yet they cry foul when consumers buy from them directly.

The multigenerational operation directly involves the defunding of, and attacks on, education. This isn’t a this or that situation. The only time you should assume stupidity is when dealing with family, friends, colleagues, frontline workers, etc; basically anyone you interact with who wouldn’t profit off the malice (eg the sales person or marketing team will lie to make a sale).

True. Assigning names like these to unknowns has entirely superseded the specific questions in the zeitgeist. They should really be named as something less ambiguous like “unknown accelerant” and “unknown attractor”.

This is not “pettiness”.
