I wonder how many of these were manually written before they created a standard “SovCit” form letter?
I love it. Short, to the point, and unambiguous. A well-crafted communication is art.
My friend who works in finance says they do have form letters for sovcit nonsense.
Did they send in actual coupons? Or is coupons some lingo that I’m out of the loop on? What instructions? Buy one bag of chips and get one 50%?
I have so many questions.
There’s a LOT of nonsense with Sovcits but you basically just need to understand a couple things. Sovcits basically believe that the government has some secret account with millions of dollars in it in your name and that there are some equally secret methods to access that money. So basically this “coupon” would try to pay for goods using that secret account, using a secret and convoluted process, and using magic legal jargon.
The bank just said, “Sorry, we don’t accept whatever this nonsense is. Plz send real money.”
Holy shit. The level of delusion itself is so scary.
A SovCits worse nightmare:
Dreaded Day of Coupon Return
Just wait for the sequel:
SovCits II: Return of the Negotiable Instrument
And they are always so surprised by it, it’s amazing.
What shocks me is how many there are. Throw a few sovcit buzzwords into Facebook search and all kinds of them show up talking about how all things are free.
I live for SovCits finding out that no one is forced to accept their bullshit.
And what delights me every time is how surprised they seem by the fact nobody is accepting their nonsense.
That’s a very succinct “get fucked” letter from Chase. Not much more arguing to be done around that response lol.
Chase: “LOL no”.
