Its an anti-city move. Everyone knows cities bring close contact. But cities are also the most efficient way to have millions of people work together.

I tell ya it’s bizarre to watch as an outsider. We keep seeing the US set fire to some of its best achievements and institutional instruments to ‘reduce government spending’, but like everything being cut saves lives and money, for the government… often with third party reports or studies backing those claims.

Oh the IRS returns $6 for every dollar they’re funded, and for the high income investigators it goes up to like $30? Slash their budget and fire all of the high income investigators.

Oh every dollar we spend on USAID nets us massive geopolitical returns it’s hard to even quantify, but it’s on the order of 10:1? Shutter the entire department!

CDC? More like DEI! Slash it. I can’t even remember the last time we had a major infectious disease.

Its so far beyond the traditional Republican funding cuts its shocking. MAGA is intentional sabotage and the most ironic name for a movement ever.
