A non-offending pedo wanted to off himself on stage to protest the, “don’t ask don’t tell” policy on pedos contributing/modding. He was stopped.
I’m sure the responses will all be kind and understanding to a person who understood their proclivities aren’t good.
Being attracted to children is an illness. Acting on it is a crime. Unfortunately, many with the illness commit the crime.
We don’t really know the percentages since it’s not exactly something people openly admit to, though otherwise agreed? Why say that though? Doubt this guy wasn’t offending?
No, but discussing it and studying it is probably something we, as a society should do, however distasteful. It’s not like other things, where we want to remove stigma or taboo, though, which serves a purpose in society.
