As a non-native speaker, is there an actual message here, or is the joke that it is uncohesive rambling?

This is the kind of sentence that is a nightmare to localize. When I read manga I dread this shit
“I’m gonna throw up again”
Always put a bucket next to the bed when feeling nauseous!
