What amount of money would you consider to be a negligible amount for you to spend to get that thing you want? Maybe it’s a few dollars or maybe it’s as little as 10 cents. For me, now that I am reasonably comfortable, anything that only costs about a dollar, I consider to basically be free.
This is how the wealthy view anything that is “only” in the thousands of dollars.

When you’re that rich, $2000 and $0 are basically the same. It’s a pittance for what they see as an underclass of poors.
