This is how North Korea’s regime finances its oppression machine (apart from sending soldiers into the meat grinder) these days. Yes, the government runs the scamming & hacking on a really big scale, and for some time now.
Since I vehemently oppose that regime, I say this must stop.
So total earned is $3,450 + $4,500 + $50,000 = +$1.28 Million? But somehow, the article is titled with $2 Million. I’m so confused…perhaps my math is broken.
2.2 million total across USA funelled to North Korean via fake IT people scam. In Georgia it was 1.28 Million with those dudes only earning a couple of grand to host a system in their home to show as a US IP address. Basically a payroll scam and US dude got a tiny cut.
I mean, did the code work?
