Trump told Republicans not to “waste” their time on extending the enhanced ACA subsidies set to expire, saying he’d only support “sending the money directly back to the people.”
Republicans are careening to a health care cliff with no solution in hand. An estimated 22 million people in the U.S. are about to see their health insurance premiums soar by, in some cases, thousands of dollars per month, as billions in funding for the Affordable Care Act expires on Dec. 31. The expiring funds, costing about $35 billion per year, were first passed during the pandemic to subsidize insurance payments, capping premiums for a “benchmark” ACA, or “Obamacare,” plan to 8.5% of income.
He’s been promising the greatest health care plan of all time for a decade, only to admit to “concepts of a plan,” an obvious lie, when pressured during a debate.
He’s a LIAR. There has never been, and never will be, a MAGA Health Care plan. The health insurance companies have paid handsomely for this precise outcome, and Trump will honor that bribe.
Their plan is for us to die after giving one of them all our money and the more we suffer while doing it the better.
Absolutely. There is a deliberate conservative effort to make sure they strip us of every penny when we die, and leave no inheritance to help the next generation.
They don’t like it when their experienced 50-something workers get a big inheritance, and decide to retire early, or worse, go into competition, using ideas they’ve been pushing for years, and getting refused. They may even take some others with them.
Nope, what little money we have, they want. All of it. They even took our pennies, knowing they’ll make out over time on the round-up. They are shameless when it comes to taking our money.
And once we are poor, our only use to them will be as slaves.
