For just about every regulation the US has passed to keep it’s citizens safe, you will find an industry that has moved somewhere where those don’t exist. It’s good to be aware of the human costs associated, but Why choose Green energy as a whipping boy?
While the subtitle of the article says “toxic fallout of a green technology”, there’s nothing green energy about this. Those are the 12V batteries from the regular gas powered cars
I wonder if they intentionally chose that line to skew blame towards the electric cars (which still use the 12V lead acid batteries because in this way they reuse a lot of components without reinventing the wheel)
