What the fuck is wrong with the internet these days? It’s a slap in the face to people like me.

Nothing is wrong with the Internet as such. You were talking about Reddit behaving like Reddit.

Reddit just let roar his bots around to keep his contents in the confine of the politically correct convenient. Maybe having too many users is the issue. Maybe is just enshittification.

I tried to post on Reddit

    That was your first mistake.

And yeah, the internet is fucked. It was never designed to be a capitalist system. With everything being paywalled, it is going to continue divide people that have money and those who don’t. Among it’s many other issues…

Reddit has gone off the rails in a big way since the IPO. The bots they’ve got are terribly trained and are silencing amd banning people at the drop of a hat, it seems. Not sure what’s up with it. What you can do there, is post here about your experiences then make a new reddit account and make a post there and say you wanted to tell of your experiences but were silenced and oh, BTW, your story can be found on lemmy, in the (x) community and it’s titled “my story” (or whatever you name it) I would hesitate to add a direct link because the bots on Reddit may just delete the whole thing. Best to start fresh on Lemmy. Good luck and stay strong, there’s plenty of folks here that will always listen.

The only effective way to get around it is using language it isn’t smart enough to flag. But then you end up being censored by other people’s lack of reading skills
